Deadline: 30-Aug-24
The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is offering grants to develop a national SLCP plan to mainstream SLCP mitigation into existing policy and methane roadmap in Guatemala.
This project responds to a request made by Guatemala’s Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to build capacity across relevant ministries to assess and reduce short-lived climate pollutant (SLCP) emissions.
National SLCP Plan
- Guatemala has been a CCAC Partner since 2023. Through the development of Guatemala’s first national short-lived climate pollutant (SLCP) action plan, this project is expected to strengthen the institutional capacity of multiple government authorities, affiliated agencies and key private stakeholders to drive SLCP mitigation action. Activities in this project including the National SLCP plan should inform Guatemala’s 2025 NDC.
Funding Information
- Estimated project cost: $200,000
Expected Results
