The British Embassy in Manila is seeking proposals that support its commitment to eradicate all forms of modern slavery by 2030.
Objectives
- The UK government is committed to the eradication of all forms of modern slavery by 2030, as unanimously adopted at the UN Sustainable Development Summit in 2015. The British Embassy Manila is seeking a proposal which supports the following objectives:
- prevention, rehabilitation and reintegration of trafficked migrant workers and/or victims of online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC) and their families, with a focus on survivor engagement
- increased awareness and access to justice and legal support following instances of human trafficking and OSAEC
Funding Information
- All bids should be in pounds sterling (GBP). Bidders are strongly advised to limit their proposals up to £43,607.75.
Timeline
- Successful bidders will implement their project from July 2024 (TBC) until 15 March 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any organisation can apply for funding. They do not accept project bids submitted by individuals.
- Proposals covering more than one objective are welcome. Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to demonstrate how design and delivery of the project will be informed by survivors and people with lived experience of modern slavery.
Ineligible
- They regret that they are unable to fund:
- academic courses
- charitable activities
- commercial activities
- infrastructure or construction projects
