The Kalulushi Municipal Council is inviting applications from respective ward development committees (VDCS) for community projects under the constituency development fund (CDFI).
Eligible Activities
- The activities eligible for funding towards community resilience building against climate change include the following:
- Provision of water for production purposes
- Provision of irrigation facilities for small scale farmers with (irrigation, pipes, soar pumps, tanks, pumps panels etc.
- Provision of inputs (seed, fertilizer, insecticides etc).
- Provision of capacity building to households/class/cooperatives in resilience building with the view to increase productivity
- Any other interventions as may be approved by the ministry through the established structures.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ward Development Committees are further invited to submit project proposals generated from zonal community meetings that reflect the needs of the community and should be dedicated to the following:
- Community resilience building activities against climate change under disaster and community projects components.
