The Challenge Fund is now open for the fourth time with an opportunity to receive total amount of about EUR 3 million.
Challenge Fund was established within the framework of the Challenge to Change – C2C project, which is financially supported by the Swedish Agency for International Development and Cooperation – Sida / Embassy of Sweden in BiH, which is being implemented by the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency SERDA and the Republic Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises.
Funding information & Duration
- The Fund has a total amount of about EUR 3 million and the indicative amount of funds under the fourth call is EUR 800,000. For potential users of the startup category, registered for at least 6 months and for a maximum of two years, the maximum amount of the grant is 10,000 euros, while users of the category of mature businesses up to 250 employees who are active for more than two years count on support in a maximum amount of up to 30,000 euros.
- Applicants must also ensure their own minimum participation of 50% of the total value of the proposed project. The project implementation period can not last longer than 12 months.
Eligibility Criteria
Entrepreneurs from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sweden with innovative business ideas, products or services that can lead to a reduction in unemployment, increased competitiveness and sustainable socio-economic development in BiH.
Evaluation Criteria
All applications for a public call will be evaluated in accordance with three basic criteria: innovation of business ideas, feasibility and sustainability of business ideas and social benefits.
