Deadline: 30-Jun-23
The Law Foundation of Saskatchewan (LFS) is making a special call for organizations to submit one-time grant proposals for Legacy Grant Program.
The successful applicants will be funded under a Legacy Grant Program which has been allocated $5.0 million by the board of LFS.
The Foundation awards grants to various organizations in support of legal education, legal research, legal aid, law libraries and law reform. The Foundation seeks to support innovative programs and initiatives promoting accessible justice.
The Foundation supports organizations by providing operating funding and special project support. Funding for these organizations has been constrained in recent years due to low interest rates. Applications for such funding are considered quarterly as described below.
Funding Information
- Applications will be accepted for one- time projects that require a minimum expenditure of $50,000 and with a project duration no longer than three years.
Eligibility Criteria
- This call for grant proposals is open to existing or proposed new not for profit organizations, including charities. Individuals and commercial enterprises are not eligible.
- Organizations must operate in Saskatchewan and/or benefit the people of Saskatchewan.
- Existing grantees that receive continuing operating funding from LFS are eligible to apply, if the grant proposal is for a one-time project clearly distinct from the operations of the organization for which funding is already in place.
