Deadline: 22-May-24
The Roquette Foundation for Health, under the aegis of the Fondation de France, and the Decathlon Foundation have decided to join forces to launch a joint call for projects on the theme “Sport and Food for Good Health”.
Diet and physical activity are two key factors in health protection and prevention. A varied and balanced diet, combined with regular daily physical activity, contributes to good physical health (limiting weight gain, improving sleep quality, strengthening the cardiovascular system, preserving bone mass, reducing risk cancer, etc.) and psychological (fight against stress, anxiety, depression, etc.).
Purpose
- The Foundations will support projects to enable any beneficiary in a vulnerable situation (insecurity, disability, from disadvantaged neighborhoods, illnesses, etc.) to be in better lasting health through a healthy diet and appropriate physical activity. Sport and diet play a vital role in health prevention and are inseparable.
- Projects must be long-term and demonstrate a sustainable action strategy, with the aim of maximizing the social impact of the actions.
- They must be set up in one of the following three countries: France, India or Brazil.
Funding Information
- The call for projects is allocated an amount of €150,000 which will be distributed across the 3 countries. The amounts paid to the selected projects may differ depending on their needs and the decisions of the jury members.
