Call for Proposals: Project Subsidies Development Cooperation of Slovak Republic

The Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation (SAIDC) in accordance with the Slovak Bilateral Development Cooperation Focus for 2020, the Slovak Development Cooperation Medium-term Strategy for 2019-2023, the EU Gender Action Plan and the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda launch a call for applications for grants for Slovak development cooperation projects for the year 2020, under the Business Partnership Program.

Objective

Sectoral priorities and specific objectives are based on the medium term Development Cooperation Strategy of the SR for 2019 to 2023.

The priority objective of the Business Partnership Program is the involvement of the private sector in meeting the objectives development assistance of the Slovak Republic and development of the private sector in development countries. The program is divided into two phases:

  • Preparation (Feasibility Study or Business Plan)
  • Implementation

Funding Information

  • The indicative funding for the call is EUR 500 000.
  • Maximum ODA subsidy and funding rules:
    • The maximum amount of the requested ODA subsidy in the Preparation phase is a maximum of EUR 10,000.
    • The maximum amount of the requested ODA subsidy in the Implementation phase is a maximum of EUR 200,000.
    • All payments made to businesses are reimbursable. Final payment will be made after the approval of the subsidy statement and the final implementation report project.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant may be an undertaking which complies all the elements of the definition of small and medium enterprise or micro will carry out the eligible project, the eligible beneficiary may be:
    • new and start-up business: firm at the date of submission of the grant application less than 3 years of business (including startups and spin-offs)
    • existing business: enterprise that on the day of submission of the subsidy application at least 3 years
