Submissions are now open for the EU Code Week support grant program for programming and digital skills development initiatives.
Objectives
- The aim of the programme is to find and support inspiring local digital skills projects that help develop programming skills, algorithmic thinking and digital skills across Europe.
- The main tasks of the support program:
- Promote the development and implementation of innovative and sustainable programming and digital skills activities.
- Support initiatives that integrate programming into educational processes and promote engagement.
- Promote community participation and collaboration between different organizations.
- Criticize projects that reduce gender gaps and promote diversity in STEAM education.
Funding Information
- Grants will be awarded to 6 initiatives, each grant up to 1,500 euros.
Eligibility Criteria
- Grants available:
- natural persons;
- schools (preschools, primary schools, secondary schools);
- libraries and other educational institutions;
- non-governmental organizations (NGOs);
- private organizations and programming clubs;
- associations specializing in programming and algorithmic thinking.
