Call for Proposals: Small Grants for Grassroots Coding Projects (Latvia)

Submissions are now open for the EU Code Week support grant program for programming and digital skills development initiatives.

Objectives 
  • The aim of the programme is to find and support inspiring local digital skills projects that help develop programming skills, algorithmic thinking and digital skills across Europe.
  • The main tasks of the support program:
    • Promote the development and implementation of innovative and sustainable programming and digital skills activities.
    • Support initiatives that integrate programming into educational processes and promote engagement.
    • Promote community participation and collaboration between different organizations.
    • Criticize projects that reduce gender gaps and promote diversity in STEAM education.
Funding Information
  • Grants will be awarded to 6 initiatives, each grant up to 1,500 euros.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Grants available:
    • natural persons;
    • schools (preschools, primary schools, secondary schools);
    • libraries and other educational institutions;
    • non-governmental organizations (NGOs);
    • private organizations and programming clubs;
    • associations specializing in programming and algorithmic thinking.
