Are you ready to bring your innovative coding project to life or expand your existing initiatives? The Code4Europe Consortium is creating a grant system to support local projects and proposing activities that strongly connect with Code Week priorities.
The purpose of this call for proposals is to identify and support effective coding projects at local level that are in line with the mission of EU Code Week to promote coding, computational thinking and digital skills across Europe. Projects that focus on coding activities, computational thinking and digital skills will be supported.
Objectives
- The main objectives include:
- Enabling the development of innovative and scalable coding activities.
- Supporting initiatives that integrate coding into educational contexts and promote engagement.
- Promoting community engagement and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
- Prioritizing projects that bridge gender gaps and promote diversity in STEM education.
Funding Information
- Grants will be awarded to the top 3 successful applicants, amounting to EUR 2,500 for first place, EUR 1,500 for second place and EUR 1,000 for third place.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants include:
- schools (elementary, secondary, grammar schools),
- non-governmental organizations (NGOs),
- coding clubs.
