- These activities, in turn, are framed within Activity 1 of Strategic Outcome 1: By 2028, the food-insecure population affected by crises in Colombia meets its urgent food, nutrition, and other essential needs and has the capacity and resources to prepare for, anticipate, respond to, and recover from potential impacts in an emergency, in the context of a safer, more inclusive, and peaceful country. With the support of WFP and in coordination with the United Nations country team, as a complement to the efforts of the Colombian Government of the 2025-2028 Country Strategic Plan, the targeted individuals will receive monthly food assistance (in-kind) to cover approximately 1,200 kilocalories per day for a period of three months. WFP will promote a no-harm approach throughout its intervention and will integrate a protection component. WFP will systematically engage communities and local authorities through its partner at all stages of the project and will utilize its Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) to ensure that potential challenges are identified and addressed promptly.
