The United Nations World Food Programme is inviting Cooperating Partners (CP) to submit proposals for the award of a contract for the implementation of ‘Emergency Food Assistance – Emergency and Response for Internally Displaced Persons affected by Conflict)” in the province of Cabo Delgado respectively in the districts of Macomia and Quissanga.

Scope of Work
- With the mobilized resources, WFP is planning to provide emergency food assistance to 265,000 people affected by conflict in Cabo Delgado, to help them meet their basic needs that is necessary to maintain household food consumption and dietary diversity through bi-monthly food assistance cycles.

Expected Results
- With the mobilized resources, WFP is planning to provide emergency food assistance to 265,000 people affected by conflict in Cabo Delgado, to help them meet their basic needs that is necessary to maintain household food consumption and dietary diversity through bi-monthly food assistance cycles. Caseload per district:
- Macomia: 33.000 HH (165.000 beneficiaries)
- Quissanga: 20.000 HH (100.000 beneficiaries) Total: 3 cycles of assistances (July/August, September/October and November/December) Assistance will be provided through different transfer modalities, namely in-kind and cash transfers (CBT).
- In-kind food assistance: Macomia and Quissanga districts In Macomia from July to October (2 cycles) with the total caseload of 33.000HH and in the last cycle November/December with a caseload of 1,650HH (5% of the total).
- CBT: Macomia for the last cycle of November/December with a caseload of 31,350HH (95% of the total).
