The International Labour Organization (ILO) has announced the “Elimination of the Child Labour in Seasonal Agriculture” project to contribute to overall policy advocacy and implementation, expansion of knowledge base and improvement of institutional capacity for the elimination of child labour in seasonal agriculture.
Financially supported by the European Union IPA Fund, the project will be implemented by International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for Türkiye between 01 October 2020 and 31 January 2025 in Şanlıurfa, Mardin, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Adana, Mersin, Hatay, Isparta, İzmir, Manisa, Ankara, Eskişehir, Konya, Malatya, Ordu, Bursa, Düzce and Isparta.
Eligibility Criteria
- In order to be eligible for this call for application, applicants shall meet below eligibility criteria:
- Being a legally recognized organization, with minimum 1-year local presence in Türkiye, carrying out nonprofit oriented work, including non-governmental organizations (NGOs), foundations, research institutions, statistical institutions, educational institutions (including universities), intergovernmental organizations, and any other entities of a similar nature.
- Having proven record of experience in;
- conducting education/training and/or social protection activities to disadvantaged groups, including at-risk children and their families.
- working with teachers, educators and/or social service workers.
- collaborating with relevant public institutions, such as local authorities, Provincial and District Directorates of the Ministry of National Education, Turkish Employment Agency, the Provincial and District Directorates of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, etc.
- Having proven institutional, financial and human resources capacity to implement and monitor similar interventions and manage funds.
