The UMngeni Municipality is looking for registered and reputable Non-Governmental Organizations and Non-Profit Organizations to submit written and detalled proposals to undertake a Teenage Pregnancy and Promotion of Abstinance Awareness Programme targeting adolescent boys and girls.
The programme must be implemented within the Wards of UMngeni Municipality during the month of June 2025.
Funding Information
- The proposals must not exceed R10,000 in value.
Eligibility Criteria
- Interested NGOs or NPOs must:
- Be reputable,
- Must be willing to conduct a presentation on their proposals for funding,
- Must provide a dose out report
- Importantly the NGOs or NPOs must:
- Be from within UMngeni Municipality,
- Be adequately accredited,
- Must have a proven track record.
Application Requirements
- Interested NGOs or NPOs must include the following in their submissions:
- A detailed proposal(s),
- Must include how their proposal will impact the targeted audience,
- Must be aware of the teenage pregnancy challenges in the UMngeni municipal area, be registered either as an NGO, NPO or any other relevant and acceptable body within the parameters of the laws of South Africa.
