Expected Results
- Identify and analyze gender-related gaps and other areas of inequality related to participation, access to resources, and benefits within the identified value chains.
- Evaluate the differentiated impact of the project intervention on the various social groups involved and propose recommendations for actions that promote barrier reduction and inclusive and equitable approaches.
- Develop a methodological guide that facilitates the agile and effective application of intersectional gender analyses in programs and projects.
- Ensure an accessible and applicable guide for technical teams with diverse levels of experience in gender, adapted to the country context.
Eligibility Criteria
- Cooperation Partnership Approach WFP is looking for a Cooperating Partner that will enable us to:
- Strong technical expertise in intersectional analysis: They are looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of how different aspects of identity (gender, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, etc.) interact and affect people in the specific project context.
- Knowledge of the local context: It is important that the partner has a good understanding of the community or sector where they will be working, including its social, cultural, and economic dynamics, so that interventions are relevant and respectful.
- Experience working with vulnerable communities and diverse social groups: They are looking for someone with a track record of working with vulnerable populations, who knows how to facilitate participatory processes, and who is culturally sensitive.
- Facilitation and training skills: The partner must be able to lead workshops, trainings, and dialogue spaces that promote reflection on gender and diversity, encouraging the active participation of different actors.
