Deadline: 10-May-23
The City of Kimberley is pleased to announce the launch of its one-time COVID-19 Safe Restart Grant program to support non-profit organizations that serve vulnerable populations within the municipal boundary of Kimberley.
The Safe Restart Grants program is designed to help non-profit organizations address the challenges presented by the pandemic, which have disproportionately affected vulnerable populations in the community. Funds may be used to address shortfalls experienced during the pandemic, help organizations recover pandemic related expenses such as personal protective equipment (PPE), cleaning and sanitation supplies, technology upgrades, or other critical needs related to supporting the vulnerable community members.
This Safe Restart Grant program is made possible due to a one-time grant given to municipalities across the province by the Government of BC. Funds were distributed to municipalities to support increased costs and reduced revenues resulting from the COVID-19 global pandemic. It is anticipated that grant recipients will be announced mid-June 2023.
