The City of Kamloops is now inviting applications for its BC Festival of the Arts Legacy Fund.
The City of Kamloops aims to provide financial assistance to Kamloops individuals or groups for development, presentation, or competition in the various fields of the visual, performing, literary, media, and interdisciplinary arts.
Categories
- Personal Development: To help further the artistic development of an individual or single organization.
- Community Development: To support community artistic development through initiatives such as workshops, master classes, and seminars.
- Travel Assistance: To provide travel assistance to individuals attending or participating in important cultural events outside of the Kamloops region.

- Grants from the BC Festival of the Arts Legacy Fund range up to a maximum of $600, subject to availability of funds.

In order to be eligible, each applicant must submit a completed application form and be accompanied by:
- A description of the project, event, or workshop and how it will benefit the community of Kamloops
- A resume or short biography on you or the organization of activities and experience in your given art form
- A statement of revenue and expenses
- Two reference letters from individuals from within his/her respective art field who could comment, if asked, on the applicant and/or project
