The Community Foundation for Ireland is seeking applications for its Social Change grants under “Inclusion for LGBT Migrants” to support community based and national work promoting activities that will increase the inclusion of LGBT+ people who are migrants.
The ultimate aim of this grants scheme is to address the unique issues for these persons, raise awareness and find innovative social solutions to these issues.
The Community Foundation for Ireland is a grant-making and donor services charity. The Community Foundation makes grants to not-for-profit and voluntary groups working in communities throughout the Republic of Ireland. Grants are usually for a particular action with an identifiable outcome. Ongoing, core or capital costs will not be considered
Funding Information
Grants of up to €10,000 are available for projects working towards the promotion of inclusion for LGBT+ people who are Migrants.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations working with the above persons can apply for activities at local and national level which will promote equality and inclusion for those LGBT+ people who were not born in Ireland.
- Applicants must show that service users/beneficiaries are involved or have been consulted in project planning where appropriate.
- Applicants must be prepared to evaluate and learn from their work as well as to share project learning and outcomes and participate in a Learning Network of Grantees.
