The Ohio Forestry Association Foundation has launched the Conservation Education Grant Program which focuses on providing financial, educational, and technical resources to individuals and organizations throughout Ohio.
Funding Information
- These grants will generally be small-scale grants designed to assist an organization with a project, with a maximum individual grant amount of $2,500.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any local government, state government, Tribal government, school, college, or nonprofit organization is eligible to apply.
- The Ohio Forestry Association Foundation will provide graphic logos and other information for promotional opportunities when appropriate.
- Grant recipients will be required to provide proof of appropriate use of funds within 30 days after the expenditure of the funds, or the close of the activity for which the funds were used, whichever is later.
- This proof can come in the form of:
- Copies of paid invoices for supplies
- Flyers or other publications for an event
- Photos with descriptions showing the use of the funds as indicated in the application
