The Coquitlam Foundation is now accepting applications for its Community grants, a type of fund that is for non-profit organizations requiring financial assistance for programs run that improve the lives of Coquitlam residents.
These grants are more broadly set up to address a cause or concern in the community.
Funding Information
Typically, the maximum available to one organization has been $3500.00.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be registered charities or partnered with a registered charity able to accept the funds on behalf of the project. To share funds as widely as possible within the community, an organization may be granted an award for two years in a row, but then are asked to wait a year before applying again.
The Coquitlam Foundation and/or private donors have established funds and invite submissions in the following areas, though awards will not necessarily be made in every category every year:
- Arts and Culture.
- Education and Literacy.
- Health and Community Wellness.
- Heritage, Historical, or Conservation.
- Environment.
- Seniors in Need.
