The Rural Business-Cooperative Service (Agency) is now accepting fiscal year (FY) 2023 applications for the Delta Health Care Services (DHCS) grant program.
The purpose of this program is to provide financial assistance to address the continued unmet health needs in the Delta Region through cooperation among health care professionals, institutions of higher education, research institutions, and economic development entities in the Delta Region.
Funding Information
- Type of Award: Grant.
- Fiscal Year Funds: FY 2023.
- Available Funds: $3 million.
- Maximum Award: $1,000,000.
- Minimum Award: $50,000.
- Anticipated Award Date: September 30, 2023.
- Performance Period: Up to 24 months.
Eligible Project
Eligible Project purposes include the development of:
- health care services;
- health education programs;
- health care job training programs; and
- the development and expansion of public health-related facilities in the Delta Region.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must meet all the following eligibility requirements. Your application will not be considered for funding if it does not provide sufficient information to determine eligibility or is missing required elements.
- Applicants that fail to submit the required elements by the application deadline will be deemed ineligible and will not be evaluated further. Information submitted after the application deadline will not be accepted.
- The lead entity is the recipient of the DHCS grant funds and accountable for monitoring and reporting on the Project performance and financial management of the grant.
- The proposed Project must take place within the Delta Region. However, the applicant need not propose to serve the entire Delta Region. All funds must support projects located in persistent poverty counties.
