Deadline: 3 October 2016
The Employment and Training Administration, Department of Labor is seeking applications from eligible organisations for a program entitled “Research and Evaluation Grants”.
DOL has a long history of supporting research and evaluation studies of important and emerging issues affecting America’s workforce. America’s working men and women deserve the opportunity to provide for their families by earning a fair day’s pay for a fair day’s work, and to do so without unnecessary risk to their health and safety.
Various Department of Labor agencies address these issues by enforcing health and safety standards, protecting the minimum wage and overtime pay, monitoring health and retirement benefits, fostering the progress of historically underpaid groups, and providing employment services and training opportunities.
