The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is accepting applications to strengthen Global Health Security by implementation of the International Health Regulations (IHR) (2005) and the Global Health Security Agenda in Nigeria.
The specific outcomes will largely depend on the strategies the recipient is eventually funded to implement and will be based on country-specific gaps or needs as outlined in the National Action Plan for Health Security. The overall objectives will be to move towards increasing Joint External Evaluation (JEE) scores towards the sustainable capacity levels.
