The Support Foundation for Civil Society is pleased to announce the Digital Transformation Fund Program to support the digital transformation processes of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with capacity strengthening programs and grants.
The fund supports NGOs in creating and implementing digital transformation plans. In the first two months of the 14-month grant program, informative workshops and meetings will be held, while in the following 12 months, NGOs will benefit from grant support, mentoring and various talent development opportunities.
Approaches
- Applications for the 2024 term are expected to include at least one of the following approaches:
- Institutional Efficiency: Improving and/or organizing the NGO’s relationship with information and data, data management, mapping, acquiring new software and the adaptation of teams to these processes.
- Strengthening Communication with Stakeholders: Developing communication infrastructure, supporting advocacy efforts, digitizing programs.
- Income Generating Product/Service Development: Donor interface, e-education programs, donor-focused information systems.
- Opening Data and Infrastructure to Sharing: Making the digital infrastructures and data used accessible to other NGOs.
Benefits
- NGOs that will benefit from the grant program:
- Learning concepts and approaches that need to be known about the digital world, such as free internet, software, open source, and data,
- Planning and implementing digitalization processes to strengthen the organization in line with its corporate needs,
- In order to meet digitalization needs, it is aimed to develop a minimum level of familiarity with NGOs, experts, etc. working on the subject in the field.
Funding Information
- The total amount of grants to be distributed to NGOs within the scope of the Digital Transformation Fund is at least 1,684,000 TL. Applicants can request a maximum of 210,500 TL from the grant program.
Criteria
- Application criteria:
- Associations, foundations, cooperatives and other non-profit organizations established in Turkey,
- Organizations that have been actively working in the field for at least one year,
- Organizations with revenues between 40,000 TL and 4,000,000 TL in 2023,
- Organizations with experience and capacity in the relevant field.
