Ecumenical Women’s Initiative has announced its new public call to submit project proposals in the following fields:
- peace and reconciliation
- ecumenical and interreligious dialogue
- women’s human rights
Through its Grantmaking programme, EWI specifically supports women and girls working in civil society organisations, as well as women theologians. EWI supports activities designed especially for women and girls (over 15 years of age), however men and boys of the same age may also be included.
Grant Amount & Duration
- For Civil Society Organisations
- Grant type 1: up to HRK 30,000/EUR 4,000
- For organisations whose project duration is up to 6 months.
- Grant type 2: up to HRK 52,500/EUR 7,000
- For organisations that have been awarded at least one grant from EWI and whose project duration is up to 9 months.
- Grant type 3: up to HRK 105,000/EUR 14,000
- The duration of the project may be no less than 15 months.
- Grant type 1: up to HRK 30,000/EUR 4,000
- For Women Theologians
- Grant amount: Up to HRK 30,000 / EUR 4,000 per theologian.
- The duration of the project is Up to 6 months.
Eligibility Criteria
Civil society organisations in which women have decision-making roles and are responsible for the project’s implementation and groups of girls engaged in youth organisations:
- registered in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia
- whose average annual budget does not exceed HRK 375,000 / EUR 50,000
- women theologians and students of theology operating in Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro or Serbia.
