The Endeavour Energy is pleased to announce the Powering Communities Grants Program to power together with the community to deliver program that are important to you.
Grant Themes
- Grants are open in the following categories:
- STEM and education
- Programs encourage STEM or create learning and development opportunities. E.g. provision of resources for schools, educational programs, programs that provide access to education.
- Community resilience
- Programs that support the community to plan for, withstand and recover from extreme weather events or help the community to manage disruptive events. E.g. Public emergency response kits, community resilience education programs.
- Environmental leadership
- Programs that help the community to participate in renewable energy and reduce their carbon footprint as we decarbonise the grid, or programs that improve or restore the local environment. E.g. community recycling and composting projects, programs that support local art and culture and support community connections.
- Social inclusion
- Programs that support inclusiveness, equity and diversity or increase energy literacy amongst the community or support the health and wellbeing of the community. E.g. activities that support diverse communities or those experiencing vulnerable circumstances, programs that support cost of living pressures for customers.

Funding Information
- Endeavour Energy is offering grants of between $2,000 and $15,000. Grants funding must be intended solely for the proposed project, and projects cannot be funded retrospectively.
Eligibility Criteria
- Endeavour Energy’s Powering Communities grants program is open to incorporated not-for-profit organisations or registered charities, school or community groups with an Australian Business Number (ABN) or registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) who have a valuable grassroots initiative that deliver clear benefits for the community in the areas of education, health and wellbeing, environment, and social welfare.
- Projects need to meet the following criteria in order to be considered for a grant:
- Be delivered by incorporated not-for-profit organisations; registered charity; school or community group with an ABN or ACNC Registration and an Australian bank account; and
- Directly benefit communities located within Endeavour Energy’s network region; and
- Provide a positive benefit to the community in the area of STEM and education, community resilience, environment, and/or social inclusion; and
- The funding being sought must fully support the delivery of the project and not be directed to corporate administration; and
- Have a remaining unfunded portion.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Endeavour Energy will not fund:
- Individuals, commercial businesses and government entities
- Activities outside of the Endeavour Energy network region
- Activities that have already been completed prior to the date of funding
