Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD) at Harvard Kennedy School is accepting proposals for its Labor Market Research in Saudi Arabia with an aim to improve labor market outcomes in Saudi Arabia. Research can also focus on building a better bridge between economic theory and the Saudi context, though it is important that research outputs are relevant to labor policy in Saudi Arabia.

- Increasing training capacity and market linkages
- Family protection including services for orphans
- Transforming welfare system and reducing dependence on social services
- Housing access for social service beneficiaries
Types of Grant
Three types of proposals will be considered:
- Full Research Projects: The total awarded per project this round will average an estimated $500,000.
- Pilot Studies: These grants typically last one year and will be for a maximum amount of $100,000.
- Travel Grants: Researchers with clear ideas that do not yet fully meet the criteria for a pilot study are welcome to apply for a travel grant to cover the expenses associated with travel to Saudi Arabia (up to $10,000)
Eligibility Criteria

- Colleges and Universities
- Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
- For-Profit Organizations;
- Private Voluntary Organizations
- Faith-Based Organizations
- Public International Organizations.
- Eligibility of applicant organizations may be subject to final approval by Harvard University, in keeping with its standard policies and procedures.
- The applications from individuals will not be accepted.
