The European Union (EU) is currently accepting proposals from eligible organisations for a program entitled “Support to Vocational training, On-the-Job training, Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship” with an aim to increase employability, sustainable employment prospects for disadvantaged groups, namely youth and women in Kosovo.
Priorities
- Provision of knowledge and skills that will increase employability and create employment;
- Enhancing entrepreneurship and creating self-employment.
Size of Grants
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between EUR 200,000.00 and EUR 400,000.00.
Location
Actions must take place in Kosovo.
Duration
The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 12 months nor exceed 24 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must be:
- a legal person and
- non-profit-making and
- a specific type of organisation from one of the following two categories:
- a public institution at municipal or at regional level – a local authority, an employment office, a vocational training centre, a vocational education school, a competence centre;
- a civil society organization
- established in Kosovo
- directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
- Potential applicants may not participate in calls for proposals or be awarded grants if they are in any of the situations
- The lead applicant must declare that the lead applicant himself, the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies) are not in any of these situations.
- The lead applicant may act individually or with co-applicant(s). If a civil society association or foundation is a lead applicant it must act in partnership with at least one eligible public institution which will act as co-applicant.
How to Apply
- The application procedure consists of two phases:
- Concept notes
- Full applications
- In the first instance, only concept notes must be submitted for evaluation. Thereafter, lead applicants who have been pre-selected will be invited to submit a full application.
