The European Commission (EC) is accepting proposals for its Data Space for Manufacturing.
Scope
The action calls for the deployment of two operational data spaces of the manufacturing industry, building on the results of the preparatory actions. The projects should have sufficient activities to lead to sustainability at the end of the action.
Objectives
- Data sharing among manufacturing companies and with (service) providers will be increased by the deployment of two data spaces of the manufacturing industry, which will demonstrate how sharing industrial data improves company operations across supply chains and
- using deep industrial data within production environments, enhances business opportunities for industrial data value added services, and supports the transition towards a circular economy.

Amount: EUR 16.000.000,00
Outcomes
Actions will address one of the following expected outcomes:
- Supply chain operations are more flexible, circular, effective and efficient, with reduced inventory levels, more timely deliveries between organisations, better resilience to interruptions of delivery channels, and reduced costs.
- Maintenance operations are better timed, with reduced overall downtimes and maintenance costs, extended machine usage periods, new service models, and improved future machine designs.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must:
- be legal entities (public or private bodies)

be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
- EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))

non-EU countries
- listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Digital Europe Programme or countries which are in ongoing negotiations for an association agreement and where the agreement enters into force before grant signature
