The Fall for Giving Grant Program is designed to support local nonprofit organizations whose projects in the areas of culinary and food, cultural diversity, family and music align with the festival’s mission.
Vision
- Fall for Greenville is the premier culinary festival in the Southeast.
Mission
- Fall for Greenville showcases the best of the best in regional culinary and entertainment talent in a fall festival for all ages and supports local charities.
Types of Grants
- They make capital grants primarily for the purchase or renovation of facilities as well as equipment. Occasionally, they consider grants in support of endowment campaigns.
- They make program grants for requests that demonstrate a specific need or identify a unique set of activities.
Funding Information
- The initiative will award grants, with each being a minimum request of $1,000 and a maximum request of $20,000.
Duration
- Grant projects must occur between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
- They support grants to 501c3 nonprofit organizations that impact the people of Greenville, SC and have at least 2-5 years of operational history.
- Organizations that have received this grant in the past two years are ineligible.
Ineligibility Criteria
- They do not fund:
- Organizations engaged in activities that are not aligned with the mission and funding priorities.
- Grants used for general operating expenses/support (salaries, insurance, etc.), marketing collateral, website, media buys, etc.
- Grants made directly to individuals, or anyone who may have a conflict of interest.
- Political campaigns or lobbying.
- Other events and festivals.
- Organizations that exclusively serve religious purposes.
