The Australia Government is offering fund for agribusinesses to expand, diversify or relocate their value-add processing operations in Western Australia.
This program provides agriculture, food and beverage businesses with funding to help them implement capital investment projects to expand, diversify or relocate their value adding and processing operations in Western Australia.
This stream provides funding to eligible applicants for the planning, feasibility and other de-risking activities to support future capital investment of agribusiness projects.
Funding Information
Funding of between $30,000 and $100,000.
Types of Services
Funding may be used to access professional services to assess the feasibility of their planned investment projects and to gather other information to support their investment decision. The types of services that can be funded include:
- Technical consultants
- Professional services including, accounting, tax, legal and other services
- Property related services including architect, planners, designers and valuers
- Product or market analysts and advisors
- Specialist reports and data services as may be applicable
- Other advisors or relevant service providers
- Obtaining regulatory approvals
- Obtaining licenses necessary to grow operations.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must be private sector organizations that:
- Have an Australian business number (ABN)
- Are registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- Are located in, or are looking to relocate to, Western Australia including the Perth-metropolitan area
- Are capable of entering into a legally binding agreement with the Western Australian Government
- Have the financial capacity to fund the minimum cash contribution of 50%
- Have been in operation for a minimum of 2 years (or similar established track record).
