Deadline: 6 September 2017
The FWF and its Japanese partner organisation JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) are pleased to announce this year’s call for bilateral Japanese-Austrian joint projects and joint seminars.
FWF/JSPS joint projects are basic research projects (including clinical research) in which scholars from Austria and Japan cooperate in pursuing a common research goal. The projects should combine the complementary expertise of the project partners, and the project parts should be so closely integrated that one part could not be carried out without the other. In addition, both research teams are expected to make a substantial scholarly contribution to the project.
Types of Project in FWF:
- Stand-Alone Projects
- Clinical Research (KLIF) programme
