The Fenland District Council is pleased to announce the Glassmoor Local Environment Fund available to groups in Whittlesey, Coates, Eastrea, Pondersbridge and Ramsey Mereside and the surrounding area to fund projects that improve the environment and enhance residents’ knowledge of an environmental issue.

Funding Information
- Typically, successful bids are of a maximum of around £10,000, but there is no formal maximum bid.
- The fund can be used to fund the entire cost of a project, though the awarding committee may choose to offer part funding.
- Funding is awarded once a year.
Ineligible Funding
- The following will not be funded:
- Bids from ‘for profit’ organisations
- Bids from individual households
- Fulfilment of statutory duty, running costs or maintenance
- Projects that won’t have enough environmental or educational benefit
- Projects where the works have been completed prior to approval
Who can apply?
- Constituted community groups or organisations (with a written constitution – or governing document – which sets out rules on how the organisation is run) can apply for funding, including volunteer groups, town and parish councils and charities.
