Deadline: 6 April 2017
The Government of Canada is seeking proposals to strengthen agri-food value chains and adaptation to climate change in Haiti.
Priority will be given to proposals that fully integrate gender equality issues in their design. This means that gender equality issues raised in the analysis are well articulated in the theory of change and are addressed specifically through concrete activities, resources and outcomes.
Program Outcomes
- Intermediate outcome 1: Value-added of the targeted agri-food value chains is increased, particularly for women and youth in the targeted regions, while respecting the environment; and
- Intermediate outcome 2: Agri-food value chains targeted by the project are better adapted to climate change.
Funding Information
Proposals are divided into two funding envelopes. Based on the value of the budget submitted in the proposal, Global Affairs Canada will determine whether the proposal falls under Envelope A or Envelope B.
- Envelope A – Funding for projects valued at $3 million to $5 million: For funding from Envelope A, Global Affairs Canada will assess proposals requiring a minimum contribution of $3 million and a maximum contribution of $5 million. The total budget for Envelope A is $10 million.
- Envelope B – Funding for projects valued at $5 million to $15 million: For funding from Envelope B, Global Affairs Canada will assess proposals requiring a minimum contribution of $5 million and a maximum contribution of $15 million. The total budget for Envelope B is $40 million.
