Deadline: 30-Nov-22
If there is any kind of creative project by a person of colour, aged over 18, living in the UK – for which £1,000 would make a huge difference. Then the Grand Plan fund is for you. This fund is for the creative itches that won’t get scratched otherwise.
They award £1,000 grants to creative people of colour based in the UK who want to make a new cultural project happen. It can be anything from: poetry, paintings, fashion, zines, music, food, flowers, photographs to workshops or events — whatever you want.
Across the grants they give they try and fund a range of creative practices, people in different areas of the UK and at different stages in their creative journey.
Funding Information
- Grant Up to £1,000 is available for Grand Plan fund.
- They ask that you use the money to complete the project you applied with within 6 months of receiving it
- It can cover the cost of equipment, courses, your time, materials, travel, whatever your project needs. However, they won’t part fund projects where £1,000 doesn’t cover the majority of the cost. They are also unlikely to fund projects where company running costs, marketing or university projects make up a large proportion of the budget. This is because they want Grand Plan to support wild and wonderful creativity and culture, rather than already profitable companies.
Eligibility Criteria
- To apply, you need to identify as Black, Asian, Brown and/or part of the Global Majority aged 18 or over and based in the UK.
