Applications are now open for the Help For Children Grants Program to support charitable organizations that addresses child abuse through prevention or treatment.
The grants provide support to ongoing program services, to programs looking to expand, and to new projects. Time-limited projects are also funded, such as the writing of a sexual abuse prevention workbook.
Practice Areas
- Direct Services: Counseling, group work, home visits, mentoring, coaching and case management.
- Education: Education programs for children, parents and communities as well as professional development/training for practitioners.
- Advocacy: Public Services announcements, digital/print projects, legal advocacy or social policy development.
- Research: Qualitative and quantitative research on child abuse issues.
What they do not fund?
- Help For Children does not fund lobbying activities, annual fundraising drives and projects undertaken by individuals. HFC also does not make multi-year grants.
