The Auckland Council has launched the Henderson-Massey Quick Response Grant Program.
A quick response grant is generally for small value grants and is available up to five times a year.
Funding Information
- Grant value: $500 – $2000
Projects
- Types of projects funded by the grant:
- Arts
- Community
- Environment
- Events
- Heritage
- Sports and recreation
Eligibility Criteria
- Higher Priorities
- If your project aligns with one or more of the following it is more likely to be funded:
- Activities that improve community connectedness and inclusivity
- Activities that improve Māori and Pasifika outcomes
- Events that demonstrate smoke free, waste minimisation and offers healthy food alternatives
- Activities that promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle
- Activities that are locally based and not for profit events and organisations
- Educational or training programmes that engage and upskill the youth
- Projects that support alternative forms of transport
- If your project aligns with one or more of the following it is more likely to be funded:
- Lower Priorities
- Projects that align with one or more of the following are less likely to be funded:
- Costs for travel and accommodation outside Auckland
- Retrospective costs (where the activity has already taken place)
- Fundraising events or activities.
- Projects that align with one or more of the following are less likely to be funded:
Ineligibility Criteria
- The following activities will not be funded:
- Debt servicing or repayment
- Legal expenses
- Activities that promote religious ministry or political purposes
- Medical expenses
- Public services that are the responsibility of central government (e.g. core education, primary health care)
