The Creative Pinellas invites Artists and 501(c)3 Arts Organizations affected by the autumn 2024 hurricanes to apply for relief funding.
Funding Information
- The number of grants will depend on the ratio of eligible applications to available funds. Individual grants are for $500 and nonprofit grants are for $1000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals:
- This program is open to all 18+ Artists who annually live in Pinellas County for six months +1 day.
- Artists who were selected for the following 2024 or 2025 Creative Pinellas opportunities are not eligible to apply:
- Arts Ignite Fund for Individual Artist
- Arts Impact Fund
- FloridaRAMA Fund
- Sixstar Performance Art Fund
- Tax Collector Murals
- NEA Beyond Placemaking
- Receipt of the following has no effect on eligibility:
- Emerging Artist Grant 2023-24
- Emerging Artist Mentor-Coach 2023-24
- Professional Artist Grant 2023
- CO.STARTERS 2023
- Panelist 2024
- Signal Box Artist 2024
- Rays Artist Series 2024
- South Pasadena Muralist 2024
- Largo Central Park Crosswalk Muralist 2024
- Arts Annual Artist 2024
- Art Camp Grant 2024
- Organizations:
- This program is open to all Pinellas County 501(c)3 Arts Nonprofits.
- The organization must be located in Pinellas County, FL; and operate and program in the county.
- The organization’s mission and work must be focused on the Arts (dance, music, visual arts, writing, performance, & more).
- Receipt of the following has no effect on eligibility:
- Art Camp Grant 2024
- Creative Pinellas NEA Beyond Placemaking Partner 2024
- SPACEcraft Partner 2023-24
Application Requirements
- The application asks for:
- Name and contact information
- A short accounting of financial losses
- A one-sentence proposal of funds use (which does not have to be related to the losses)
- A short narrative of how the grant would help the individual’s artistic practice or the organization’s services.
