The International Center for Nonprofit Sector Law (ICNL) is pleased to invite the submission of applications from civil society organizations (CSOs) in El Salvador for a grant of up to US $ 15,000 to carry out activities related to the legal challenges affecting CSOs in the country.
- Investigate and analyze specific legal challenges faced by CSOs to formally settle or operate in the context of law national, international and comparative;
- Dialogue within the civil sector and with the government and other sectors about legal challenges assessed; and
- Advance in collective action to promote or defend civic space.
- The impact of the health crisis on the civil sector in relation to the challenges legal to be treated in the proposed activities; and
- The proposed methodology, which should be based on activities conducted virtually for at least the first three months and possibly during the life of the project.
- Compliance with eligibility requirements and procedures established (applications incomplete or delivered after the date limit will not be considered);
- Demonstrable experience related to the proposed topic;
- Quality of the proposal, including innovation, methodology, feasibility and the probability that it will contribute to improving the legal environment for civil society;
- The budget and value in relation to the cost of the activities to be carried out; and
- The commitment to continue collaborating beyond the conclusion of the proposed activities.
