The Prague Civil Society Centre is launching a grant call for proposals to provide two-year institutional support to key local civil society organisations in Ukraine which actively participate in reconstruction and recovery processes on a local level.
The aim of the programme is to ensure that grantees have the time and resources to develop themselves as institutions, sustain their operations, and ensure that local representation and the voice of civil society are integrated into the reconstruction process.
Funding Information
- The maximum amount of an awarded grant is 37,000 EUR for a period of 24-months to cover necessary needs of the organisation. A second-year of funding will be a subject for an approval based on the results of the first-year’s cooperation.
Activities
- They want to support local involvement in the reconstruction and recovery processes.
- The organisation might focus on the following activities:
- increasing engagement of local citizens in planning, fundraising, and the implementation of recovery-focused projects,
- monitoring locally managed expenditures assigned to reconstruction and recovery processes,
- supporting the exchange of knowledge and experience between communities,
- engaging foreign experts in the reconstruction and recovery planning and implementation to share expertise and experience.
- Please note that they want to provide core support for the organisation in order to enable them to implement desired activities. You are not required to apply with particular project idea.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants must be a legally registered civil society organisation (non-profit) from Kherson, Kharkiv, Mykolayiv, Dnipro, or Zaporizhzhia regions.
- The organisation must have at least one year of proven operations on the ground.
