The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is accepting applications for the International Circulation Grants to support projects that contribute to the international visibility of works by Portuguese or foreign creators in the areas of Performing Arts — Dance (choreography), Theater (theatre and opera staging) —, Visual Arts performance, (drawing, sculpture, painting and photography, video) and Cinema (direction).
These grants are aimed at Portuguese and/or foreign creators or programmers/curators with a demonstrated history of activity in the Portuguese art scene, to allow them to present visual and cinematographic works and shows in prominent international contexts.
Projects that are awarded grants must include the public presentation of an in-person activity.
Funding Information
- Support of up to 2,500 euros is paid in a single installment, with the award of support;
- Grants of more than 2,500 euros are paid in two installments, 90% of the total amount with the award of the grant, and 10% with the delivery of the final report.
Eligibility Criteria
- Portuguese individuals;
- Foreign individuals with permanent residence in Portugal;
- Private non-profit institutions of Portuguese artistic production.
