The Kings Coronation Grant Fund is now open for applications to support the organisation of local community celebratory events that mark the occasion of the coronation of King Charles III.
Community groups and organisations can apply for funding to organise local events that could range for example, from a community lunch, street party or barbeque to tea dances, fun days or other celebratory events.
Funding Information
- Single Organisations/Groups can apply for up to £500. However, joint applications for events being delivered by two or more organisations is acceptable.
What can be funded?
- This fund is specifically for community celebratory events taking place between Friday 5th May – Monday 8th May 2023 (Inclusive).
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications can be submitted by constituted community groups or voluntary organisations, operating within North Lanarkshire.
- Specifically, you are eligible to apply if you are classed as a:
- Registered charity
- Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO)
- Unincorporated club or association
- Company limited by guarantee (with charitable or community objectives)
- Community Interest Company
- Organisations should have a bank account in the name of the organisation/group with at least two cheque signatories, who are unrelated by birth, marriage, or household address.
- Organisations and groups who are constituted and have their own bank account are eligible to apply.
