Mini Grants Contest for Feminist Youth Organizations and Initiatives to Develop Feminist Movement in Ukraine

Women’s Perspectives Center has announced a Mini Grants Contest for Feminist Youth Organizations and Initiatives to Develop Feminist Movement and Protect Rights and Improve Life for Young Women and Teenage Girls.

The Mini Grants Competition is funded by Open Society Foundations support.

It is envisaged that the purpose of the competition will be achieved through:

supporting youth feminist organizations and initiatives to develop the feminist movement among youth;
promoting the development and self-realization of young feminists;
Involvement of youth in the feminist movement and dissemination of ideas of gender equality in schools, universities, other educational institutions, etc.;
promotion of girls’ leadership;
increasing the capacity of youth feminist organizations and initiatives to influence the protection of rights and the improvement of the lives of young women and adolescents;
Supporting projects of solidarity assistance to girls from vulnerable groups.

Funding Information

Women’s Perspectives Center announces a mini-grants competition (10,000 to 100,000 hryvnias one mini-grant).

Eligibility Criteria

Participation in the competition is: youth feminist civil society organizations and initiative groups operating in Ukraine.
Grants to for-profit organizations, political parties, and religious communities are not provided.
In order to participate in the competition, you must fill in an application form in a free form, which must include the following information:
- Name of the project (reflects the essence of the project)
- Total budget of the project (in UAH)
- Name of the organization (composition of the initiative group)
- History of the organization (initiative group): year of creation, implemented initiatives, projects;
- Legal form of organization (for registered)
- Organization code for EDRPOU (for registered)
- Legal address of organization (for registered)
- Organization (initiative group) mailing address
- Phones fax, organization / initiative group email, website, FB page (if any)
- Last name of organization (initiative group) manager
- Surname, name I, patronymic, and age of project manager
- Last names, forenames, and age of the main project executors
- Mailing Address
- Contact Phones, Email, FB Page:
  - Short description of the project:
    - Main objective of the project
    - Target groups of the project
    - Deadline
    - Project implementation plan
    - Expected results of the project
    - Location
- Please give a brief description of the project budget (main cost items and required amounts). The selected CSOs (groups) will have to submit an expanded budget in Exel form.
