The MissionBox Philanthropic Fund is offering one $2,500 (USD or equivalent) grant award for August 2018 to a nonprofit or charity, from anywhere in the world, that provides services in the following areas: animal welfare, activism, rescue or public education about the rights and plight of animals.
Qualify for a $2,500 grant for applicant’s organization by setting up a MissionBox nonprofit profile with a brief description of their mission and (IMPORTANT!) a photo that represents the animals they protect and support. Then, ask supporters to recommend their organization via crowdsourced voting.
The organization with the highest number of recommendations on their MissionBox organizational profile, at the time and day of grant close, will be awarded the grant.
Nonprofits and charities that serve the welfare of animals hold a special place in our society. Often, animals needing care and protection are without rescue or hope. MissionBox honors those who dedicate their lives to educating others about the importance of animal rights and/or who work actively to protect those rights.
Criteria
Qualified organizations will be asked to confirm that they comply with the following nonprofit operating guidelines:
- Organization must have been a registered nonprofit, NGO or charity and in operation for at least one full year.
- Organization may be asked to verify the above by providing documentation.
How to Apply
All applicants need to do is follow these two easy application steps:
- If applicants DO NOT currently have a MissionBox organization profile:
- Complete applicant’s organization’s profile on MissionBox with a brief description of their mission and (IMPORTANT!) a photo that represents the animals they protect and support.
- Next, get supporters to recommend organization on MissionBox!
- If applicants DO have a MissionBox organization profile:
- Make sure applicant’s MissionBox profile includes a description of their mission and upload a photo that represents the animals they protect and support.
- Next, get supporters to recommend organization on MissionBox!
- Applicants can register their organization on MissionBox via given website.
