Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) is currently inviting project proposal (PP) from Bangladeshi non-government organizations, registered with NGO Affairs Bureau and /or Department of Social Services.
Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF), a national non-governmental organization, has been working for the last 16 years to promote Human Rights and Good Governance, in partnership with national and local NGOs. The UK aid recently awarded MJF a programme named “Excluded People`s Rights (EPR) in Bangladesh“ for five years.
Key Programme Areas
MJF will provide support in the following five programme areas:
- Strengthening Public Institutions
- Tackling Marginalisation and Discrimination
- Security and Rights of Women and Girls
- Decent and Safe Work
- Youth and Social Cohesion

- Micro A: From BDT 50,00,000 to BDT 80,00,000
- Small B: From BDT 80,00,001 to BDT 1,00,00,000
- Medium C: From BDT 1,00,00,001 to BDT 20,000,000
- Large D: From BDT 20,000,001 to BDT 35,000,000
- Macro E: From BDT 35,000,001 to BDT 55,000,000
Eligibility Criteria
Funding from MJF is available for NGOs, CSOs and networks, who are committed to working with excluded and marginlised groups, women, children and youths in Bangladesh. These organisations should have work experience to: contribute towards creating enabling environment for promoting good governance and ensuring human rights and entitlement of marginalised; enhance security of women and girls; ensure decent work environment for workers; protect children from hazardous work; and build youth leadership for responsible citizenship.
Organisations have to be registered either with the NGO Affairs Bureau and/or Department of Social Services to be eligible for applying which include:
- National and local NGOs
- Coalitions, networks and apex organisations
