The Frozen Funds Charitable Trust is accepting applications for its grant program to provide grants for projects run by, and for, people who use mental health or intellectual disability services.
The proposals must be:
- For people who use, or have used, mental health or intellectual disability services.
- Applied for by charitable organisations or individuals or groups without charitable status.
- Run, or administered by charitable organisations on behalf of individuals or groups without charitable status

Funding Information
- Applications of up to a maximum of $10,000 will be considered.
What they are looking to fund for?
- They’re looking to fund projects or programmes that clearly demonstrate support in the following:
- Leadership development
- Vocational support or training
- Self-advocacy or personal development
Proposed projects must be:
- applied for by charitable organisations or by charitable organisations on behalf of individuals or groups without charitable status
- directed by people who use, or have used, mental health or intellectual disability services
- completed within a finite period.
- Preference will be given to project proposals that would not be normally funded through government.
Eligibility Criteria
- Charitable organisations, or individuals or groups without charitable status. However Individuals or groups without charitable status must apply through a charitable organisation that has agreed to run and administer the funds on their behalf.
- Applications must;
- Be for people who use, or have used, mental health or intellectual disability services (Projects need to be run by and / or for people with intellectual disabilities and mental health illness)
- Show evidence how service users are going to be involved in the project/programme.
- Directly linked to and able to demonstrate how they address the theme.
- The Trust will accept more than one application per organisation, individual or group, however only one will be funded if successful.
In what circumstances will an application not be considered?
- Applications from organisations that is not registered with Charities Services.
- Applications from individuals who do not apply through a registered charitable organisation.
- Applications from groups who do not apply through a registered charitable organisation.
- Applications that do not directly address the theme.
- Applications for retrospective funding.
- Applications from organisations who received a grant in a prior year that have not met their accountability requirements.
- Applications from sports organisations and service clubs.
