The Norwegian Helsinki Committee is pleased to announce the continuation of their small grant funds in support of human rights, democratization and the strengthening of civil society in Central Asia.
Proposals must include a detailed budget up to 10,000 USD. However, smaller projects are also encouraged.
Eligibility Criteria
- Norwegian Helsinki Committee welcomes project proposals from all Central Asian republics.
- All project proposals must include an overview of current grants, and previous grants for the past 3 years.
- All project proposals must include a project description, timeline, participants and target group, an assessment of possible risks, as well as expected goals and results.
- The proposals may be presented in English or Russian languages. There is no set form for the written proposal.
- Please note: Organizations that are currently receiving significant funding from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) are not eligible for this grant.
