The international call for proposals of the European Partnership for Clean Energy Transition (CET) Call 2025, focused on research in the field of energy transition (clean energy).
Its aim is to contribute to the EU’s goal of becoming the first climate-neutral continent by 2050.
The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR) is involved in this international call together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade (manager for TRI 1, 3 and 5) and the Ministry of the Environment (manager for TRI 7).
Thematic Configurations
- Czech applicants will be able to participate in the following four thematic configurations (TRIs) and the corresponding six sub-thematic “Call Modules”. These Call Modules represent individual “call topics” in which applicants should submit their international projects:
- TRI 1 – Net-zero emissions energy system
- CM2025-01 Multi-vector interactions between the integrated energy system and industrial frameworks
- CM2025-02 Energy system flexibility: renewables production, storage and system integration
- TRI 3 – Storage technologies, renewable fuels and CCU/CCS
- CM2025-04 Carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS
- CM2025-05 Hydrogen and renewable fuels
- TRI 5 – Regional energy systems
- CM2025-07 Integrated regional energy systems
- TRI 7 – Built environment
- CM2025-09 Clean energy integration in the built environment
- TRI 1 – Net-zero emissions energy system
Funding Information
- The total financial amount of TA CR support for the call for Czech applicants in international projects is EUR 1,200,000. The maximum financial amount of support per project is EUR 250,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Each applicant (main applicant, other participants) must choose one of the following applicant types to determine the maximum aid intensity:
- research organization;
- business
- Applicants who are not a research organization will select the applicant type enterprise (e.g. associations, registered institutes and other non-profit organizations, self-employed persons or contributory organizations).
