Deadline: Ongoing Opportunity
The Suffolk Lawn Tennis Association (SLTA) is pleased to announce an open call for the Stimulus Fund.
Aims
- The Stimulus Fund was set up by the Suffolk Lawn Tennis Association (SLTA) to expand tennis in Suffolk to the widest possible community by providing funding for small schemes aimed at increasing the number of players in both the junior and younger adult age-groups.
-
SLTA is looking to discover and exploit a wider vein of talent
- By taking tennis further into the community socially and geographically
- By giving the opportunity to play to those who have not had the chance before
- Above all, SLTA wants more people to see tennis as a thoroughly enjoyable sport combining exercise with social pleasure.
- In this way SLTA aims to build a stronger and more successful base for the future of tennis in Suffolk.
Funding Information
- Grants of up to £1,000 are available for charitable, voluntary and community groups to support local grassroots projects that are looking to promote tennis in areas of deprivation (including rural) and help those who are disadvantaged or vulnerable.
