The Support Foundation for Civil Society is pleased to announce the Organizational Strengthening Fund, with the aim of supporting the strengthening of human resources (HR) processes of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working to improve the social participation of disadvantaged groups and /or increase their social welfare.
In addition to grant support, NGOs will receive capacity development opportunities related to HR processes within the scope of the fund. NGOs will benefit from different opportunities to support their capacity development, including workshop series on different themes, experience sharing meetings and expert support.
Expert support to be provided within the scope of the fund covers the following topics:
- Payroll solutions,
- Information about SGK incentives,
- Information and support regarding recruitment, interview processes and the design of these processes,
- Information and support on issues included in labor law such as contract types, recruitment and termination processes, annual leave entitlements,
- Assessment and development center consultancy opportunities (online and/or face-to-face)
Funding Information
- The total amount of the grant to be distributed to NGOs within the scope of the Fund is 250,000 TL.
- The upper grant limit for applications to the Organizational Strengthening Fund is 100,000 TL.
- The maximum application period for the grant is 12 months. Applications cannot be shorter than 6 months.
Eligible Expenses
- The grant provided under the fund can be used for the following purposes;
- Expenses related to human resources and administrative affairs (expenses for the use of people dealing with these matters),
- Meetings and practices for employee well-being,
- Infrastructure and service purchases that will strengthen human resources processes,
- It can be used for tasks such as improvements to be made regarding information and document management used in human resources processes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Associations, foundations, non-profit cooperatives, unions, federations/confederations established in Turkey,
- Organizations that have a vision and need for capacity development,
- Organizations that can designate at least 1 person as responsible for the capacity development of the participating institution,
- Organizations with at least 7 full and/or part-time employees in 2024-2025,
- Primary qualifications sought in applications:
- Institutional Capacity: The organization’s members, connections, employees (if any), volunteers and expertise; sufficient management skills to focus on the work being done, and the team with primary responsibility for the grant having the knowledge, skills, time and experience required for the work,
- Capacity Development Need and Motivation: The nature of the plan proposed by the organization regarding the development need related to HR processes and the corporate motivation to implement this plan.
