Deadline: 20 July 2017
Are you inspired by the fact that up to 67% of the SADC region’s population is below 35 years and yet youth, especially young women, remain on the margins of the mainstream economy, politics and society?
Are you working on promoting and protecting youth’s economic, social and political spaces at a community or national level? Are you inspired to use art and activism to promote voice in the public space? Are you a catalyst in your community- seeking to create spaces for marginalised communities to be heard? Are you challenging the causes, acting to remove the barriers and catalysing transformation across the political, socio-economic and legal spheres of youth within and across the SADC region?. If so, you are what OSISA is looking for!
The Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa (OSISA) is currently inviting innovative ideas from young activists, artists, entrepreneurs or organisations who are working on the range of questions above to submit proposals to the OSISA Youth & Arts Flexible Grants Initiative.
